Pot Magnets offer an increase in clamping force onto ferromagnetic materials because the neodymium magnets are inside a ferromagnetic casing (Ni or Zinc plated mild steel) which gives an improved magnetic circuit. This allows high clamping forces to be achieved with minimal size.
We offer an extensive range of Pot Magnets, from small Pot Magnets lifting 2.2kg up to large Pot Magnets lifting up to 164kg. They exist in a wide range of diameters and heights.
